Co-op Participation Guidelines

The CHS Elementary Co-op is open to families who:

  • Are members of Countryside Bible Church who regularly attend
  • Are “child worker approved” (having gone through CBC’s background check process)
  • Are actively engaged in homeschooling
  • Oldest child is in kindergarten or older (defined as age 5 by October 1st)
  • Can commit to participating on Tuesday mornings from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Elementary Co-op Overview

Thank you for your interest in the CHS Elementary Co-op!

Elementary Co-op will be for students in K to 5th grade in 2024-25.

Important Dates:

Start date - September 3, 2024

End Date - May 6, 2025

Meeting Day/TimeMost Tuesdays 9:00 to 12:00 pm


Fees:

Family Membership Fee (annual fee) - $25 per family. This fee covers administrative costs of the co-op such as the website, copies, and coffee. The family membership fee is non-refundable and required to register for co-op or other CHS classes 

Student Supply Fee (annual fee) - $5 per child in the nursery, $10 per child for PreK, and $70 per child in grades K-5.  The supply fee will be due on June 1st.  After June 1st, the supply fee is not refundable.

Individual Insurance Fee (annual fee) - $5 per infant, $10 per PreK, $15 for all Kindergarten and up students as well as for each adult in the building during the co-op. This fee is due August 1st and may change slightly based on actual enrollment and the insurance policy rates we obtain at that time.
